What Can I Expect From My Chimney Cleaning Appointment?
1. We Lay Drop Cloths
From the front door to your hearth, if necessary — so your property is protected against soot, dirt, and dust while we sweep your chimney. Our technicians also come equipped with foot protection to prevent sooty footprints and keep your beautiful carpet and floors clean.
2. We Clean The Chimney
Once we’ve placed tarps down and protected your property, we use our specialized chimney cleaning tools and brushes to loosen creosote deposits and soot, and remove them from the liner, smoke chamber, and fireplace. And since we’ll have a powerful vacuum system in place (a RoVac 3-motor, HEPA filtered vacuum) before the cleaning begins, you can rest assured every dust particle and soot or creosote deposit will be captured, not spread throughout your home or air supply. We’ll also remove any bird or animal nests and debris.
3. Power Sweeping If Needed
Have harder-to-remove buildup, like glazed creosote? Need to have your chimney disinfected after nesting animals are removed? We provide power sweeping, mechanical cleaning, and chemical applications, so no matter what needs to be done to clean your chimney, we can do it.
4. We Inspect The Chimney
